Remsoft is bringing their ever-popular User Group meeting to Melbourne in late October 2019. As Remsoft’s business partner in the Asia Pacific region Margules Groome Consulting have been collaborating with Remsoft to bring together an exciting agenda. It will feature both business and technical tracks – with presentations from Remsoft, clients, Margules Groome and insider views into upcoming products, services and technical tips.
Earlier this year we published an article on Remsoft’s new product offering Remsoft Operations. It has been designed to provide a unified view of your company’s planning and operational data. If such a product is of interest to your company this is your opportunity to come learn more about this exciting new product with one session of the meeting dedicated solely to Remsoft Operations. However, if you are just interested in our old friend Woodstock, there will be plenty of interesting information, tips and tricks on using Woodstock. Those modelers who trying to bridge the gap between strategic and operational forest planning, the session on Remsoft’s new module Road Optimizer will be extremely relevant to you.
In terms of Margules Groome involvement in the meeting; Mr Rudolf van Rensburg will be giving an Australasia forestry market outlook and presenting what we see are the future trends for the forestry industry. He will explore key factors that are likely to impact forest valuations by analysing emerging opportunities and potential constraints. Fellow Margules Groome director, Dr Hamish Marshall is presenting on the use of Remsoft products as part of our forest valuation business, he will provide insights into how key Remsoft products allow Margules Groome to value over 4-billion-dollars’ worth of forest annually.
The meeting will be held at the beautiful Jasper Hotel, located in the Melbourne CBD. On the evening 29 October 2019 join us for cocktail reception starting at 7 pm, with the main user group meeting on Wednesday the 30th October.
